E: Bubbleman Turbo ~ Deck Review

Hey everybody this is xiexieyi and today we will be discussing a new upcoming deck type otherwise known as "Bubbleman Turbo". This deck revolves around the use and recycling of 3 main heroes: Stratos, Alius, and Bubbleman in order to pull off easy XYZ and fusion summons.

Pros: This deck is very fast when needed and is highly versatile as you can spam, inter-exchange, and utilize both powerful Rank 4 XYZ's as well as your basic core of hero fusions. This allows for many potential otks as well as quick combos that deplete your opponent's hand and field. The use of many magics and traps can leave your opponents wary of your massive back row as you recycle your monsters over and over while popping your opponents cards with staples such as "Hero Blast" and "Gemini Spark".

Cons: Within the deck is a very low monster count, if you are unable to draw or search any of your monsters and can't gain access to your traps, well have fun (This can be partially alleviated with searchers such as "E - Emergency Call" and "Reinforcements of the Army"). Another major problem is mass spell/trap destruction cards such as "Heavy Storm". As you play with a very low hand count, any major error you create or mass destruction card that you are unable to counter can leave you without any next turn answers.

Overall: This deck is highly consistent due to  the amount of recycling and searching available. Its ability to play out of bad hands and quick access to powerful beatsticks make this deck a force to be reckoned with.

Meta Matchups:
Dino Rabbit: This deck has no problem defeating this furry/scaly combo known as first turn Laggia set 3 then pass. Though at first glance this seems like a daunting task, the amount of 1-1ing is intense due to spark and quick acess to XYZ's and fusions.  "Rescue Rabbit", their normal monsters, and "Tour Guide" are all pop-able with "Hero Blast and "Gemini Spark" and present little threat. "Super Polymerization" removes the ever present Evolzar threat and gives you a powerful beatstick in the form of "Elemental Hero Nova Master" or "Dragon Knight Draco-Equeste" and the painless siding of techs make this a fair if not favorable matchup. Good side deck cards are "Mirror of Oaths", and extra "Super Polymerization"'s.

Inzektors: Aside for the siding of triple "Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror", this deck which spams hornet provides a few threats to this deck, but in the end, the weak inzects vs. hero matchup should sway in your favor due to your mass amounts of magic/traps as well as quick heavy hits form "Blade Armor Ninja" and your fusions should give you the upper hand. Good side deck options are "The Transmigration Policy" and "Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror".

Wind-Ups: Aside form the ever annoying first turn loop, this deck should not be a major big threat to your heroes. First off, almost every card they summon starts with less than 1900 attack, creating great targets for your "Hero Blast". The same holds true with "Super Polymerization", which kills their combos. The vast amount of combos at your disposal should make winning a cinch, but if not, good side deck choices are "Mirror of Oaths", "The Transmigration Policy", and "Rivalry of Warlords".

Decklist:

This is the main deck of my own personal "Bubbleman Turbo" decklist. I have provided you a basic breakdown and explanation of each card and why I run it. If there are any doubts about what each card does I have provided you the links for those cards in the form of the card names. Any questions or comments feel free to ask in the comment section below and without further ado let us begin with the main deck.

E: Bubbleman Turbo Decklist (Main Deck): (40)

Monsters (7):
x3 Elemental HERO Bubbleman: Level 4 special summoning goodness. Though this card's "Pot of Greed"-like effect rarely goes off, the fact that you can special summon it from your hand when its the only card there allows for fast plays in a deck where spells and traps make up the majority.

x3 Elemental HERO Neos Alius1900 beatstick, fusion fodder for "The Shining", and targets for both "Hero Blast" and "Gemini Spark". What else could you ask for?

x1 Elemental HERO StratosA staple in all HERO decks. This 1800 beater searches out all and any e-Heros and potentially blows up your opponents back row.

Spells (22):
x3 E - Emergency Call: Basic searcher that takes the place of a monster.

x3 Pot of Duality: This card adds consistency to the deck at the cost of not being able to special summon, which does not hinder the deck to a large extent. Activate any monster searcher first, then activate "Duality" for added consistency.

x3 Miracle Fusion: This card is ironically enough, a miracle. This card allows for swift fusion summoning from the field and graveyard. The banishing of the fusion materials allow for "Parallel World Fusion" as well as the extra attack boost for "The Shining".

x3 Gemini SparkThis card is indefinitely useful when used in conjunction with "Alius" and "Hero Blast".
Tribute, pop one, draw one, then pop one, add one with "Hero Blast", all day every day.

x1 Parallel World FusionTech Choice. This card fuses and recycles your heroes and saves them from the pit known as the 'banished" zone. After this card activates your searchers are once again live, ready for use.

x1 Super Polymerization: This handy quick-play spell card allows you to steal your opponent's monster and combine it with a hero to create a devastating beater. The fact that it cannot be chained to comes in handy during matchups such as "Dino-Rabbit" or any deck with a "Tour Guide" engine. The reason that this card is only mained at one however is due to your lack of a hand throughout most of the duel, and when you do draw it's usually something you want. Some of the better discarding options are the HERO monsters as well as dead searchers.

x1 Pot of Avarice: Interestingly enough many "Bubbleman Turbo" decks do not run this card. This card is useful as you are able to recycle your seven HEROs as well as the added bonus of drawing 2 cards. Call this a "player's preference" but I like it and its less dead than one would think.

x1 Reinforcement of the ArmyYour second basic searcher along with "E - Emergency Call".

x2 Mystical Space TyphoonStaple

x1 Heavy Storm: Staple

x1 Dark Hole: Staple

x1 Book of Moon: Staple

x1 Monster Reborn: Staple

Traps (11):
x1 Solemn Judgment: One of the "Solemn Brigade". All out negation in exchange for half of your lifepoints? Enough said. Staple.

x2 Solemn WarningOne of the "Solemn Brigade". This card wreaks your opponents plays at the cost of 2000 life points. Though 2000 is a lot of points, this does not effect this deck as much as others.

x2 Bottomless Trap Hole: This card is deadly useful this format as it hits many cards such as "Inzektor Centipede", "Thunder King Rai-oh", "Sabersaurus", "Wind-Up Hunter", etc. Just to name a few.

x2 Torrential Tribute: It's good, it's at two, run it at two.

xMirror Force: Need to protect yourself from hordes for monsters? Flip mirror force.

x3 Hero BlastPop one add one HERO normal monster to your hand. This card gets rid of your opponent's monsters and recycles your "Alius"'s. All around goodness.

    1. some of the targets in the extra deck such as E-Hero's Great Tornado and Nova Master are there for Super Poly, Nova Master works well against the Rabbit matchup as both Dolka and Laggia are fire types. There are no specifically "Neos Fusions" in the extra deck .. all are either omni or xyzs.
